Butterflies and Moths
Prints from my recent work looking at moth and butterfly collections in Victorian Britain. 3D butterflies I handmade using my own photographs I took at the entomology departments archives at Manchester's Natural History museum. At the recent exhibition in May, I scattered these butterflies around my prints.

Transient Collective Exhibition 26th May-28th May 2014
I recently collaborated with 11 photographers to organise, and hold an exhibition in the old ballroom at Antwerp Mansion Manchester.
My work focused on the temporality of nature. I photographed antique insect collections, butterflies that are captured, deprived of life and then displayed in such a way as to be preserved in eternal timelessness.
